Approx. 24" tall.

The Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra) is a massive, fast-growing native North American shade tree celebrated for its clean symmetrical canopy, outstanding durability, and brilliant brick-red autumn foliage. Widely considered one of the most handsome and structurally sound oaks, it is frequently used as a primary canopy tree on large lawns, parks, and wide neighborhood streets.

Growth Rate: Remarkably fast-growing for an oak tree, it easily puts on 1 to 2 feet of new vertical growth per year once established in the ground.

The Silhouette: It grows with a broad, rounded canopy that naturally arches out to provide deep, cool shade. It typically matures to 60 to 75 feet tall and 45 to 50 feet wide, though ancient forest specimens can push past 100 feet.
