Mask has a sticker saying Zaramo, Zigua, Kwere however from our research appears to be a Biola Dance Mask. Appears to be genuine, hand carved, crafted. 12.5" x 10" Dia.

A Biola mask is a rare and distinct ceremonial artifact originating from the Tetun-speaking peoples of the Belu region in Timor (an island in Southeast Asia). These masks are historically significant and should not be confused with African tribal masks, which often appear in the same search categories due to their similar status as ethnographic art.
