The Kuba Ikul (or Ikula) is a traditional ceremonial short sword from the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Introduced in the early 17th century by King Shyaam aMbul aNgoong, it typycally features a distinctive leaf-shaped iron or copper blades and a decorated handles.
