Ngbaka (or Mbaka) tribal masks are traditional hand-carved wooden artifacts created by the Ngbaka people, who reside primarily on the Gemena Plateau in the northwestern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These masks, known natively as dagara, are highly revered for their minimalist, geometric forms and play a vital role in communal rites of passage.
